Maple Burbon Chicken Bikini Bites

  • 1.5 lb chicken tenderloins
  • 3 tbsp Woodford Reserve
  • 2 tbsp minced shallot
  • 2/3 cup Rufus Teague Touch of Heat BBQ Sauce
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp real maple syrup
  • 2 tbsp orange juice
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • salt and pepper to taste


Preheat grill to 450 degrees. Add bourbon to a medium sized sauce pan and reduce by half. Add BBQ sauce, brown sugar, maple syrup, minced shallot, and orange juice and bring to a boil then reduce heat to keep it warm. Slice each chicken tender lengthwise and transfer to large mixing bowl. Add olive oil and salt generously. Sprinkle with black pepper. Grill for 3-5 minutes on one side until grill marks appear. Flip and grill for an additional 3-5 minutes.  Skewer chicken and drizzle with maple bourbon bbq sauce. Serve immediately. Enjoy!
