We’re really good at buttering up our significant others… and we’re pretty sure we’ll be able to ask for just about anything after serving these Balsamic Butter Grilled Button Mushrooms at dinner tonight..
- 1 lb Baby Bella or White Button mushrooms
- 4 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp salted, melted butter
- 1 1/2 tsp freshly chopped thyme
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tbsp Williams Sonoma White Balsamic (you can substitute a high quality traditional balsamic)
- 1 1/2 tsp honey dijon mustard
Using a dry paper towel brush any excess dirt off the outside of the mushrooms caps and transfer to a medium-sized mixing bowl. Drizzle the mushrooms with three tbsp of olive oil and salt generously.
Add, honey Dijon, balsamic, thyme, lemon juice, melted butter, and 1 tbsp olive oil.
Preheat your grill to medium high and grill for approximately 4 minutes on each side, baste with the melted butter mixture and grill for an additional 2-3 minutes on each side until tender. Serve as a hot, one bite appetizer with a cocktail skewer. Garnish with fresh thyme. Enjoy!
