Smoked Black Bean Salsa

  • 1 cup green bell pepper (petite dice)
  • 1 cup red bell pepper (petite dice)
  • 1/3 cup minced red onion
  • 1/2 tsp cumin powder
  • 2 tbsp smoked Tabasco
  • 1 tbsp lime zest
  • 6 tbsp lime juice
  • 1 tsp kosher salt
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 tbsp chopped cilantro
  • 1/2 cup minced jalapeño


Add bell pepper, red onion, cumin, olive oil, Tabasco, lime zest, lime juice, and jalapeño in a large mixing bowl and stir until well combined. Gently rinse black beans and shake off excess water. Add beans, salt, and cilantro to the mixing bowl and fold gently being careful not to break up the beans.  Serve with your favorite chips!  Enjoy!
