Molten Salted Caramel Brownie Bites

Ingredients

  • 1 cup softened butter
  • 1 1/2 cups dark brown sugar
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 4 extra large eggs
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 cup flour
  • 2 tsp vanilla
  • 1/2 cup semi sweet chocolate chips
  • 2, 3.2 oz Chocolove Dark Chocolate Salted Carmels
  • 1 bag Werther's Soft Carmels
  • 4 tbsp half and half
  • flaked sea salt

Instructions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In large mixing bowl, cream together butter, sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy approximately 3 minutes. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Add vanilla. Stir in flour, cocoa powder, and salt until well combined. Fold in chocolate chips.

Then generously grease and flour mini muffin tin. Fill each tin 1/2 full then add 1/3 of a Chocolove salted caramel square and cover with additional batter until each tin is 3/4th full. Bake for 12-14 minutes. Add 1 bag of soft caramels and cream to a small sauce pan over medium low heat whisking frequently until thoroughly melted. Increase heat until the mixture bubbles; whisking constantly. Remove from heat. Allow brownie bites to cool before removing from pan. Drizzle with caramel sauce and sprinkle with flaked sea salt.  Enjoy!
