Smoky Maple Pecans

Ingredients

  • 2 cups raw pecan halves
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp mustard powder
  • 1/4 tsp chili powder
  • 2 tsp BBQ seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 2 1/2 tbsp maple sugar (substitute light brown sugar)
  • 4 tbsp raw granulated sugar
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 4 tbsp salted butter

Instructions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Mix paprika, cayenne, garlic powder, onion powder, mustard powder, chili powder, BBQ seasoning, sugar, maple sugar, salt, and salt in a small bowl.  Melt butter in microwave and pour over nuts; pour sugar/ seasoning mixture over nuts and stir until evenly coated. Line your baking sheet with parchment paper and spread out nuts evenly. Bake for 12-15 minutes and immediately remover parchment paper from baking sheet and allow nuts to cool thoroughly.  Enjoy!
