Berry picking is a summer delight for APWU. Wineberries have a short season, so you have to be quick or you’ll miss them! If you catch the wineberries this year, try this #farmtoglass inspired cocktail…

Wineberry Rosé Cooler

Yields 1 Cooler

  • 1 tsp sugar plus some for a sugar rim
  • 1.5 ounces of wineberry juice (you can substitute raspberries if you don’t have access to wine berries. Strain 1/4 – 1/2 cup berries through a fine single mess strainer like this one).
  • 3 ounces of rosé (We used Minuty)
  • splash of White Claw Natural Lime Hard Seltzer (club soda works too!)

First, sugar the rim of your glass (take a lime wedge around the top, then dip in sugar). Strain at least 1.5 ounces of juice. Then combine all ingredients in shaker, except for seltzer. Shake and pour over ice. Top with seltzer and garish with skewer of wineberries.
