Balsamic Butter Grilled Button Mushrooms


Ingredients

  • 1 lb Baby Bella or White Button mushrooms
  • 4 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp salted, melted butter
  • 1 1/2 tsp freshly chopped thyme
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp Williams Sonoma White Balsamic (you can substitute a high quality traditional balsamic)
  • 1 1/2 tsp honey dijon mustard

Instructions

Using a dry paper towel brush any excess dirt off the outside of the mushrooms caps and transfer to a medium-sized mixing bowl. Drizzle the mushrooms with three tbsp of olive oil and salt generously.

Add, honey Dijon, balsamic, thyme, lemon juice, melted butter, and 1 tbsp olive oil.

Preheat your grill to medium high and grill for approximately 4 minutes on each side, baste with the melted butter mixture and grill for an additional 2-3 minutes on each side until tender.  Serve as a hot, one bite appetizer with a cocktail skewer. Garnish with fresh thyme. Enjoy!
