Happy Bastille Day! 🇫🇷 Grab a beret, a baguette and some bacon! We’re celebrating France’s Independence Day with French-inspired Candied Duck Bacon. Head to Di Bruno Bros and pick up a package of Uncured Smoked Duck Bacon by D’Artagnan.

Yields 16 Slices (1 package)

  • 8 oz package of D’Artagnan duck bacon
  • 1/4 brown sugar
  • black pepper

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line baking sheet with parchment paper. Place strips of bacon in large bowl with brown sugar and gently toss to coat with sugar. Then transfer strips to parchment paper and sprinkle with black pepper. Bake for 20 minutes, then flip and bake for remaining 15 minutes. Remove from oven to cool. Use these as a brunch side dish, to flavor sandwiches or as part of your Bastille Day French charcuterie platter! C’est délicieux!
