On Sundays we brunch! This Sunday we brunch with sausage bites!
Brunch Sausage Bites with Maple Chipotle Dipping Sauce
- 1 lb mild Italian sausage (we purchased our from Wyebrook Farms)
- 1 tbsp Tabasco® Chipotle Pepper Sauce
- 1/3 cup 100% pure maple syrup
Place sausage links in a large cast-iron skillet. Add 1/4 cup water to the bottom of the pan and cook on medium, finishing on medium high so sausages are cooked through. Remove from heat and place on cutting board. Slice into 1 inch coins, then return to pan. Sear the sausage coins on both sides to achieve crispiness.
In small saucepan, heat maple syrup and Tabasco on low to medium heat until it boils, stirring to combine. Feel free to add a little extra Tabasco to turn up the heat! Remove from heat.
Serve sausage bites with dipping sauce at your next brunch! Enjoy!
