Channeling our inner Olivia Pope for #winenotwednesday & popcorn with an APWU twist…
APWU Salt & Vinegar Popcorn
- 4.5 tbsp popcorn oil
- 3 tbsp butter
- 2 tbsp chopped chives
- Salt to taste
- 3 tbsp malt vinegar powder
- 3/4 cup unpopped popping corn
Add popcorn oil to the bottom of a large stock pot with lid and heat to medium. Add popcorn to the pot and cover with the lid until fully popped, about 2-3 minutes. Sprinkle with 1.5 tbsp of vinegar powder and fold gently wth a rubber spatula. Add butter and chives to a small bowl and microwave for 30 seconds or until melted. Pour butter over the popcorn and again gently fold. Add the remaining vinegar powder and fold once more. Salt to taste. Enjoy!
