“Sweet dreams are made of cheese, who am I to dis a brie?” 🎤 Yes, we’re #cheesy, but not as deliciously cheesy as this…
Baked Brie Tuscan Loaf
- 1 Tuscan round loaf from Wegmans
- 1 lb of triple creme brie
- 2 tbsp green onion
- 2 tbsp parsley
- 1/2 tsp red pepper
- 1/4 cup parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp softened butter
Preheat your oven to 350°F. Slice your round loaf into cubes, but DO NOT slice all the way through. Slice horizontally and then vertically into 1-inch cubes so the bread naturally falls apart but doesn’t detach. Then, combine butter, green onion, parsley, and red pepper in a small mixing bowl. Now the fun part… gently stuff the loaf with the chunks of Brie between the slices. Finish by brushing on herbed butter. Wrap the loaf in foil and bake at 350°F for 20 minutes. Remove from oven. Increase temperature to 400°F. Then uncover loaf and sprinkle with parmesan cheese. Bake for another 5-8 minutes at 400. You want the cheese to be completely melted and the top to be golden brown and crisp. Serve while the loaf is still hot from the oven. Pair with your favorite soup!
