Mother Nature can’t figure out whether it is summer or fall and neither can A Party With Us! So we are doing a mash up to satisfy all our seasonal culinary desires…
French Onion Slider
- French Onion Jus
- 1tbsp butter
- 2 onions
- 4 cups of beef stock
- 2 tsp Better than Bouillon Roast Beef
- 2 fresh bay leaves
- 3 sprigs of thyme
- 4 tbsp white wine
- Melted Cheese
- 1/2 cup half and half
- 1/2 lb sliced cooper cheese
- 12 beef slider patties
- Martin’s Potato Rolls
Melt butter in sauce pan. Quarter the onions and then slice and add to sauce pan. Sauté until golden brown, about 3-5 minutes on medium-high. Add wine and reduce until wine has evaporated. Add beef stock, bay leaves, Better than Bouillon and the thyme. Boil to reduce by half. In another sauce plan, melt cheese and half and half on low heat until smooth. Then grill sliders on high heat about 2.5-3.5 minutes per side. Toast potato rolls using conventional toaster. Then assemble slider and serve with side of French Onion Jus!
