Goat Cheese Stuffed Figs with Honey Drizzle
- 15 black mission figs
- 4 oz chèvre cheese
- 1/2 tsp lemon zest
- 2 tsp lemon juice
- 1/2 tsp fresh chopped thyme
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp half and half
- Salt to taste
- Honey
Remove bottoms and stems from figs and cut crosswise and gently pull apart to create room for the goat cheese filling. Add chèvre, lemon zest, olive oil, lemon juice, thyme, and half and half to a small mixing bowl. Beat with hand mixer on high until smooth. Add salt to taste. Transfer goat cheese mixture to a ziplock bag and remove the corner of the bag with scissors to make a disposable piping bag. Arrange figs on serving dish and pipe goat cheese into figs. Drizzle with honey. Enjoy!
