Shortbread Brie Brûlée with Cranberry Compote
Cranberry Compote
Ingredients
- 12 ox bag Ocean Spray Cranberries
- 1 cup water
- 1 cup sugar
- 3 tbsp fresh squeezed orange juice
- 1 1/2 tsp orange zest
Instructions
Add cranberries, water, sugar, orange juice, and orange zest to a medium size saucepan. Bring to a boil then reduce heat to achieve a gentle boil. Cook for approximately 20-30 minutes or until the cranberries are the consistency of a chunky jam. Refrigerate until ready for use.

- 8 oz Wegman’s triple cream mild Brie
- 2 10 count boxes Lorna Doone Shortbread Cookies
- Additional granulated sugar for Brûlée topping
Evenly distribute Brie amongst the 20 cookies; smoothing it with a butter knife. Generously sugar each of the cookies. Arrange cookies on serving tray and carefully torch the top of each cook for approximately 15-20 seconds or until golden brown. Top with cranberry compote and serve. Enjoy!
